The kitchen conversation with Leena and Appu started when she said “You have enough, how much is your ‘enough’ is something that you need to find.”
My repartee was “Enough does not have a Period, except when it comes to one matter.” Listening to this statement, Appu looked a bit intrigued. Before enlightening him with that answer, I thought of guiding him to the right path to find the answer himself. Hence quipped further.

“Appu, do you know what is the ultimate power of an employee?” I asked my teenage son. His answer surprised me. Then I went on to ask few more of my acquaintances, 2 said “Knowledge”, 1 said “Job Security”, another said “Professional Competency” and Appu’s answer was “Is it wealth?”

Absolutely spot on, young man! Money gives you the power to ‘Say no’, ‘Call it quits’, ‘Show a middle finger to those who underestimate you’, ‘Enjoy independence’, ‘Love philanthropy’, last but not the least ‘Sleep without worrying about tomorrow’.

Then there is one thing that we say enough to, that is food, everything else, we love more and more.

How important is wealth in our life?

“Money is not everything. Make sure you earn a lot before speaking such nonsense.” Warren Buffett said that adding another thought-provoking statement. “There’s class warfare, all right, but it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.”

I segregate my life into 3 phases.

The first 15 years was all about hard labour, jack of all trades, test of endurance, hand to mouth and zero liability.

The next 10 years was all about smart working, 20 hrs 7 days a week, without holidays, quality learning, understanding my flaws, delayed gratification, brand value creation, team building and zero liability.

If I have to describe my last 12 years, then it is the best I had. Allow me to quote from the Bible (Psalm 128:2) “For when you eat the fruit of your labour, blessings and prosperity will be yours.” What did I do differently in these periods of time?

I meticulously and untiringly fine-tuned my “Professional Life” not my personal life. Devoted an average 2hrs daily for teaching my team about Professional Code of Conduct, Business Acumen, and Personal wellbeing. Deleted over 8500 contact details to have only best of the best Trackfinder Family Members. Changed my wardrobe and style quotient. Refined my language to be crisper and clearer. I made myself the focus from all the glitzy clutter that was dangling around. I spent on myself, my family and Trackfinder Team. How much I am spending on changing my support system was more important than how much cash reserve I am accumulating. Gave my kids best Indian and International Education possible. Kept zero liability. Enjoyed the art of giving.

All these were done with gusto and conviction. Something always told me to walk the riskier path. Be the provider not the patriarch. Aptitude to take risk differs from person to person, what is constant in us is the ability.

Yaar, aap ne karliya, you had strong pillars to support your growth. Guys and Girls, I am the reason for my success, I asked for my people’s support, that is the truth. None volunteered be my stepping stone, I created my own steps, then I pulled them up onto the steps I created and requested them to be with me for some more time. I did not have a platoon at my disposal, just hand full of quality people starting with Leena to Manish to Roma and my kids. Now that I mentioned them and what I have done in my life, let me give you some professional insights to help you understand more. I am afraid how useful they will be, nonetheless use them as you please.

Use Pareto Principle to its good use – the 80% of results come from 20% of causes in many situations. Likewise start with a calculated 5% of risk-taking ability, you will find good amount of value addition to your wealth, health and happiness. Find a coach, free and easily available and reliable one to gradually increase it.

Understand Murphy’s Law – In any field of endeavour, anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Hence, why fear about what could go wrong, instead prepare yourself to challenge the probable hurdles that could come up.

“What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true.” Bible

“In this, no effort is ever lost and no harm is ever done. Even very little of this dharma saves a man from the Great Fear.” Bhagavad Gita

Now the million-rupee question is how do I find my power?

Let me help you use the Logic of Deductions or Deductive Reasoning to arrange in a top-down manner.

Learning Period (Kid)
Keep a check and balances of everything in life. Learn more about you than about the people around you. Pen down your strength and weaknesses and work on them. Save as much as possible and delay your spending on nondiscretionary items. Stay away from Intraday Trading, Crypto, buying Home, Car and Land to have zero liability. Keep a target amount of ₹5 Lakhs in your investment portfolio. Stop worrying about the performance of you, the people around you and the materials in your possession. Average time required in this period is 5-10 years. If you rate yourself with 3 Stars, then you are on the right path.

Settling Down Time (Pro)
Now you have walked the rugged path and you know who you are. Best part of this, you have just one 3am friend and 4 best friends. Now you know who can exploit you and who will vanish when crisis knocks on your door. You are now looking for more value in everything you do and expect reasonable growth with an aptitude of higher risk proportion. Most of the things I mentioned above become unimportant as they won’t slow you down. You dream of becoming a Millionaire and you have one reliable coach unlike the 5 you had in the Kiddo Period. You have an audience and your words and inspiring. You will find yourself saying “I have been there, done that” more often. You stop from giving tips about wealth, health and happiness and start guiding them by pointing out what is wrong.

Calm and Composed (Legend)
You stop checking your real time growth on a host of things. You ask for reports about wealth, health and happiness from everyone around you once in a while. People start discussing subjects with you, like you are the last man standing. You smile when people hurt you and you don’t panic when others are in pain. You spending habits have changed and you end up surprising your loved ones.

This is my gift from 2023 to see you changing the next year for good.
